As a Head of Partnership, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong partnerships with our non-air suppliers, including hotels, cruises, land operators and local providers. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at optimizing our travel offerings and ensuring exceptional customer experiences
Job description
Responsibilities:
- To develop and sustain strong partner relationships with business generators, tour operators and other producers closely allied to hotel business
- Build and progressively expand the portfolio of assigned hotel partners and supplier network
- Manage hotel/supplier procurement and contracting while actively negotiating favourable rates and terms with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and promptly address any issues that may arise, ensuring seamless operations
- Analyze market trends and partner performance to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement
- Streamline the booking process for various travel needs, such as hotels, ground transportation, sea transport and activities
- Contribute to the strategic development of hotel business by leading and managing hotel services team
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to manage hotel availability, rates and promotional information across all booking platforms
- Undertaking regular and comprehensive competitor analysis
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Tourism or Business Administration
- 10 years of experience in hotel contracting and/or sales, gained whilst working in travel operations or web-based accommodation/travel sector
- A track record in exceeding targets, relishing the opportunity to shine and contribute significantly to the continued growth in the travel industry
- Demonstrates general problem solving skills and an intense curiosity to identify trends
- Ability to select and present insightful database including performance, market and competitor analysis and to implement meaningful action plans based on the data
- Outstanding presentation & communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Mandarin & Cantonese
- Self-motivated, aggressive, outgoing and customer & sales-oriented
- Able to work independently as well as be strong team player
